YOUR TOWN -- Due to damages resulting from an earthquake and the aftershocks, the Missouri Department of Transportations is conducting road and bridge damage assessments and has approved some roads for evacuation purposes. Here are some specific Evacuation Instructions for residents of (name of area)

- Gather personal items you may need such as soap, towels, shaving articles, toothpaste, tooth brushes, sanitary supplies, eyeglasses, dentures, cash and credit cards, baby foods and disposable diapers, several changes of clothing for all family members, and toys for small children. You may also want to bring other supplies such as a portable radio, flashlight, batteries, plastic or paper bags, pillows and blankets.

- Before you leave your home, shut off all appliances, lock all windows and doors.
