Pre-requisite Training
Before you attend any formal classroom training for the new BCA software, you are required to complete an on-line course prior to attending the training.
Introduction to Benefit Cost Analysis Training Course: This training is for those who are not currently familiar with the BCA program or in need of a refresher.
Bridge Training Course: This training is for users familiar with the previous BCA program to ensure they are aware of the new terminology and elements of the new Tool.

*Due to the nature of the funding, please contact SEMA to determine if funds are available under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. Also, HMGP applications are currently not part of eGrants and must be completed on paper.

Notices of Interest Forms
The deadline for submission of Notices of Interest for ALL non-disaster Mitigation grant applications to SEMA is August 7, 2009 for the FY2010 funding cycle. Completed applications are due to SEMA via the FEMA eGrants system no later than October 30, 2009.
Your jurisdction must be covered by a current Multijurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan to be considered an eligible applicant. Applications must be submitted by an "eligible" city, county, or special district to be considered for funding. Due to various "after mitigation" requirements, applications from individuals cannot be accepted.
Note: A revised Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) software is mandatory for all non-disaster grant applications submitted for FY2010 and any HMGP projects funded from disasters declared after June 1, 2009. A prerequisite is required to enroll in training that will be offered by SEMA in August 2009. The prerequisite and software can be downloaded at http://www.bchelpline.com
