News From Around the State for Area G:

Date: September 10, 2008

Location: Willow Springs, Hillbilly Junction

Time: 11:30am to 2:30pm

You are invited to the Area G Coordinator Meeting at Hillbilly Junction Restaurant immediately south of Willow Springs. You are invited to eat lunch from the buffet or order from the menu. I will start the meeting around 12:15 and end around 2:00pm. This meeting will hear presentations from Steve Runnels of NWS, Debbie Kern of 211 and Keith Russell of SEMA.  Steve will recap the impact of the weather’s severity and frequency over the past 10 years in Area G.  He also has information from the Flash Flood Risk Analysis Project that NWS conducted here 3 years ago.  Debbie will introduce the effort to provide human services information with the 211 phone number.  Keith will update us about Resource Management at SEMA and your LEOP’s Annex G. 

Feel free to invite other people to this quarterly meeting. Networking with others will make your organization stronger. See you there.
