WebEOC

Missouri WebEOC

Missouri WebEOC is an online tool for information sharing and resource request tracking during emergencies, disasters, significant events and daily operations. SEMA and our response partners believe WebEOC provides the opportunity for leadership at all jurisdictions to work with a common operating picture and real time situational awareness of events affecting their region and the state. SEMA encourages all Missouri response partners to utilize WebEOC so that we can all be as responsive as possible to the people we serve. Use of WebEOC is restricted to Missouri response partners.

WebEOC is currently used by local and federal government agencies including, FEMA Region 7, Missouri Region D, Kansas City, faith-based and volunteer response partners, and private industry. Through WebFUSION, Missouri WebEOC users can share and access information with other WebEOC systems.

Missouri WebEOC includes a customized set of boards that have been developed specifically for Missouri. Within the context of WebEOC, boards are electronic displays of information grouped by subject matter. Information contributed to boards is displayed in real time and visible to other WebEOC users. Missouri WebEOC also contains a resource request process. WebEOC is a tool users will find both easy to learn and easy to remember.

New users can request WebEOC access on the forms on the right or contact their local emergency management director.

"Platte County has had WebEOC for 11 years and we use it on most incidents from snow storms to tornadoes, floods, and hazardous material issues. This is a system that anyone can use and it keeps those in an EOC or JIC informed of the situation and helps to make decisions on questions posed by those in the field on needs, resources and shelters. WebEOC is easy to learn, easy to use and will take a small amount of training to get you started to use immediately." - Michael O'Neal, Platte County deputy/assistant EM coordinator

"From the emergency management perspective, I cannot speak highly enough of WebEOC. The visibility and ability to track resource requests is phenomenal. Having everything in one place, road closures, shelter information, damage assessments and situational awareness of adjacent counties is valuable information, especially during significant weather events. Most of all, WebEOC is very user friendly; even those who have limited technical savvy will easily be able to use and navigate this system." - Michelle Kidwell, Callaway County emergency management director and 911 director
