SEMA Regional Coordinators are the state’s liaison to local jurisdictions within assigned regions regarding all aspects of emergency and disaster management. Regional Coordinators attend and conduct meetings with local officials from the whole community to provide technical assistance and direction in the coordination of emergency management and disaster related activities. Coordinators also serve as subject matter specialists in emergency and disaster management programs and projects. The state of Missouri is divided into nine regions, A-I, that correspond with the Missouri Highway Patrol troops. Ten Regional Coordinators provide assistance to Missouri’s 114 counties and their associated jurisdictions, and the independent City of St. Louis.
